Cam at 15 months

Our sweet baby girl, Campbell Claire, is 15 months old.  She is such a joy and its been fun being home with her this summer and seeing her personality develop.  Cam is our "wild one" as she climbs and jumps and dives on and off of everything.  She definitely has had more bumps on her head than Piper ever has and her first real word appropriately was "ouch."  She loves to dance and play anything with her sister.  She is very friendly and also really good at following directions, I think that's because she doesn't want to get left out.  Some stats - she weighs 21 lbs. 12 oz. and is 30 inches tall.  She has 8 teeth and has cut her top two one year molars.  She wears 12-18 months size clothes and size 5 shoes.  She looks more and more like Piper everyday with her curls, summer tan, and chubby cheeks. And now for the fun part of this post - the pictures!

 "take me with you daddy"

Cam's language is really starting to develop.  She can say - mama, dada, hi, bye, thank you, ouch, uh-oh, uh-huh (yes), uh-uh (no).  She does sign language for thank you, milk, more, food, and please but she's really working on saying please and Piper or Sissy.  She's seems much happier being able to communicate.  She loves to say bye-bye and blow kisses, she will do this to anyone, voices on the phone, and even moving cars as she figures someone in that car is going bye-bye.  So cute!

I think she's only happy here because she was either eating cheese or goldfish.  This girl is one picky eater, she prefers carbs and dairy although I can sneak in some protein and a little fruit.  Nondisguised fruit and veggies really make her turn up her nose.  She separates those items from the rest of the food on her tray, pushing them as far away from her as she can and then she throws them on the floor.  She doesn't seem to mind going hungry, I really hope this phase is short lived.
