Our family vacation this summer was to Galveston. Our good friends the Downings invited us to come over 4th of July weekend so we did and we had a blast. Our kids are the same ages and it was really easy to plan our days and have a lot of fun and suprisingly relax a little too. We stopped in College Station for the 4th and loved staying at the La Salle hotel. Then we spent 3 days in Galveston. We stayed in a house pretty far down the beach but it was a beautiful community with an amazing deck and views of the ocean. That was definitely the best part of the house!
